Originally from England, where I ran a Mechanical Engineering Company, as a local for the past 22 years to New Smyrna Beach and Port Orange, my knowledge is extensive and informed.
I owned and ran a Motorcycle and ATV Dealership in New Smyrna Beach for many years before becoming a Realtor.
I enjoy the numerous outdoor activities the area has to offer; especially, cycling and Motorcycling.

Pre-Approval
Getting pre-approved will help you know exactly what you can afford so you can confidently focus on the right homes. Plus, it shows sellers you’re serious, giving you an edge when making an offer.

Property tours
After you have reviewed and selected which homes you want to tour, we get to go shopping! This is where you can start figuring out what you really want in your new home.

Write offer
Once we find the home of your dreams, we'll submit an official offer - including but not limited to sale price, inspection contingencies, and closing costs. The seller then has time to accept, reject, or counter your offer.

Under Contract or Escrow
With your offer accepted, we enter a 30-day Escrow period. This involves a neutral third party company that holds funds while conducting a thorough underwriting process to ensure all aspects of the contract are upheld properly

Appraisal
The appraisal is ordered by your lender to protect their investment. They have their own checklist of things they look at for the final approval to move forward. The appraiser can demand repairs completed by the seller before they will give their approval.

Inspections
Now that you've found your home we need to order the inspection. The inspection will let you know what repairs are needed, some are minor and some may be safety issues. Don't worry, you are still protected.

Closing
Congratulations! You now own a home and can get moved in. It's time to celebrate and have your housewarming and show off your home. We will be standing by to answer any questions you may have about home-ownership and have a list of contractors if the need arises.

I was an out-of-town home buyer. Andy and I met randomly over the phone and I didn’t actually meet him in person until Closing day at the Title company. I had to give him a hug. Because of our innumerable texts, emails, phone calls, his exceptionally detailed work and the many tasks he handled in order to make my home purchase a reality, our first meeting felt like he was a trusted family friend. When my original mortgage lender-of-choice seemed to be overwhelmed and had trouble managing the data in the loan approval process, Andy suggested a much more responsive Broker. I took his suggestion and that change in mortgage lender turned out to be very beneficial. Also, Andy was able to furnish a list of several qualified vendors I needed to resolve what, at the time, seemed an irreconcilable position related to the inspections process. He volunteered to coordinate access, monitor inspections and followed up on the required contractors work. And because of Andy, my Home Owners Insurance is actually lower than in my original Closing documents package. I don’t think Andy even knows his actions saved me money every single month. Somehow Andy made me feel as if I was his only client, but I learned that was not the case. In fact, he was a very busy fellow (with a great British accent, I might add). I can’t say enough about how well Andy did his job as my Realtor. He was a one-man public relations team that made things happen on what seemed to me to be a very tight schedule. At the same time, he was extremely personable; I never felt pressured. Having him as my Realtor was like working with a long-time friend. That’s it.
